Free Claim It! materials available for 2011 tax season

The start of a new year brings the beginning of tax season.  Greater Twin Cities United Way, on behalf of the Claim It! community-wide partnership, has produced free marketing materials to support outreach to limited-income individuals and families.

Your help promoting Claim It! to those qualifying for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Working Family Credit (WFC) will save these hard-working families their hard-earned income.

Tax credits average $2,200 and help families pay rent, mortgage or bills, and improve their financial stability.  Claim It! also promotes free tax preparation services, saving an average of $150-200.

Claim It! materials are available immediately to download.  Or you can request free copies of the standard Claim It! (11×17″) poster and extra tear-off pads, which are available in English, Hmong, Spanish or Somali. 

 All orders for Claim It! materials must be submitted electronically by Wednesday, January 12.
